Tom Keller, FSA, MAAA - Senior Partner

Tom is a senior executive who has served as CEO, CFO and Chief Actuary in both large, well established, financially sound companies and small, cash-strapped, entrepreneurial organizations. Tom’s background in health insurance and actuarial work dates back to 1971, when he began as an actuarial student in Travelers' Group department. Tom's executive roles have included CFO and Chief Actuary, Fortis Inc. (now Assurant); President, Fortis Health (now Assurant Health), and EVP and CFO of RewardsPlus and Imerica. While with Fortis, Tom served on the Boards of HIAA and Private Healthcare Systems (PHCS). He was an active participant in the Academy of Actuaries MLR advisory working group.

Tom graduated magna cum laude with a BA in physics from Yale and went through the Pepperdine MBA extension program.

Craig Magnuson, FSA, MAAA - Senior Partner

Craig is a senior executive who has spent the majority of his career specializing in Individual Health insurance. Craig’s background in health insurance and actuarial work dates back to 1987, when he began as an actuarial assistant at Time Insurance Company (now Assurant Health). His executive roles included SVP and Chief Actuary, Imerica Life and Health Insurance Company and VP and Individual Actuary at Assurant Health. While at Assurant Health, Craig was also responsible for Individual Medical compliance issues and served on the Board of Directors for the Montana, New Hampshire and North Dakota state high risk pools, along with being an active participant in helping the state of Kentucky revise its Individual Medical rate regulations to re-open the market while protecting the interests of consumers.

Craig graduated cum laude with a BS from Carroll University (Waukesha, Wisconsin); double majoring in Computer Science and Economics.
